How decisions get made
The faculty meets once a week after school. Everything from the calendar to tuition to a class's year is decided there.
One teacher keeps the agenda, runs the meeting and answers the phone for the school. The chair's year ends in June, and the faculty chooses who takes it next.
Parents meet with the faculty each term. Questions from that meeting go on the agenda for the next weekly one.
When a teacher is needed, the faculty reads the applications, visits with each candidate and asks the class to meet them.
Visit days include a talk with the chair and a class teacher.
