Safety routines

  • Arrival and dismissal

A teacher greets each child at the door in the morning and walks each child to the right adult in the afternoon. Only the adults on the family's pickup list may collect a child.

  • Visitors

Every visitor signs in at the office and wears a badge. Parents who help in a class sign in the same way.

  • Outdoors

Children go outside every day. Families send boots and a rain layer, and a teacher is with the class outdoors, at the creek and in the garden.

  • Allergies

Tell us about allergies at the visit; we ask privately once you enroll. Each class teacher keeps the plan for the children in the room.

  • Illness

A child who is unwell stays home until the next morning, and a teacher calls a parent when a child is unwell at school.
